Enhanced Battery Performance & Range
The Simple One electric scooter now boasts a total battery capacity of 5kWh, divided into two units – a fixed 3.7kWh battery and a portable 1.3kWh pack. While the mechanical aspects of the scooter remain largely unchanged, advancements in electronic efficiency and drivetrain optimization have contributed to the extended range of 248km.
With a weight of 136kg, the Simple One is among the heavier electric scooters in its segment. Additionally, its 796mm seat height makes it one of the taller options available, catering to riders who prefer a slightly elevated seating position.
New Features & Future Expansion
The latest update brings several new features, including a tyre pressure monitoring system to enhance safety, regenerative braking for improved energy efficiency, and a USB charging port for added convenience.
Currently, Simple Energy operates with a limited network of 10 dealerships across India. However, the company has ambitious expansion plans, targeting 150 showrooms and 200 service stations by the end of the 2026 fiscal year. This strategic move aims to improve accessibility and after-sales service for customers nationwide.
With these upgrades, Simple One continues to solidify its position in the electric scooter market, offering a compelling blend of performance, efficiency, and advanced features.
